Scala Temporale is a sound/video installation by Paolo Rosa and Roberto Paci Dalò: located within the project en:trance#2, it was subsequently assigned to the space of the EURAC Tower in Bolzano.
The installation is based on the specific typology and history of the space and is a reflection on time and its perception. The materials, distributed throughout the space, evoke the flow of a time which, within the installation, is intended to be mutable and at multiple speeds. The sound is predominantly based on the ticking of clocks and footsteps, while the images consist of two animated tableaux, created on video, inspired by two well-known historical works and performed in “reverse” by several actors. The work is immersive and connected to the themes of the entire en:trance project.
