Riminisoundscape is a workshop created by Roberto Paci Dalò for the Degree Course in Fashion Systems and communication at the University of Bologna – Rimini campus. The workshop forms part of the Riminimapping project. The project is based on an acoustic and visual mapping of Rimini and its surrounding area, with the aim of identifying places, people and events beyond the usual channels of communication.

A soundscape is an acoustic environment or an environment created through sound. Soundscapes are often combined with musical performance. A “soundscape composition” is an electroacoustic musical composition that creates a sonic portrait of an acoustic environment.
