The group exhibition Opus Incertum inaugurates the 8ᵗʰ edition of the Cristallino Festival: a collective of 12 artists and a choral reflection on the process that leads to the creation of a work of art.
The twelve artists present and share fragments of their work, the less conventional ones, which do not reproduce the fixed stability of a finished piece but which represent, and intrinsically describe, the artist’s visual and experiential journey, the construction of an idea from its conception, taking shape on paper and in notebooks, before reaching the first three-dimensional sketch. The exhibition gathers the outcomes of this research, in an attempt to highlight the less traditional aspects of artistic practice.
