Il calore della terra is a sound-theatre work created by Isabella Bordoni and Roberto Paci Dalò and realised with the company Giardini Pensili. The work is conceived for clarinet, harmonic clarinet, harmonic flute, bells, percussion, voice, and magnetic tape.
The compositional process follows minimal criteria in the sense of a search for sound; the score is realised at the same time through graphic and traditional notation. The music moves through solitudes and polyphonies; the bells merge into a single flow that extends, vibrating.
