The second edition of Tactus Radio Festival focuses on the theme Radio di guerra / Radio di pace: three days dedicated to contemporary radio, sound art and podcasting. The edition is guided by the curatorship of Andrea Borgnino (Rai Play Sound and radio amateur), Roberto Paci Dalò (founder of Usmaradio), Nathalie Singer (Chair of Experimental Radio at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar) and Elisabeth Zimmermann (Director of Kunstradio, ORF Vienna). Guest artists of this edition: L’Impero della Luce, Andreij Rublev and Dj Armeno.
During the festival the new KiwiSDR Usmaradio listening station was presented: the Research Centre’s entry into the broad international network of shortwave listening stations. The station, permanently installed at the Monastery of Santa Chiara, the headquarters of Usmaradio in the City of San Marino, it is remotely accessible through a dedicated section of the Usmaradio website and allows users to tune in to and listen directly to frequencies through the KiwiSDR device installed on site.
