Roberto Paci Dalò, seen from our horizon as beings entrusted to a silently hidden planet, belongs quite naturally to the realm of High Art: to the great international assemblies, to those places where sonic thought becomes a recognized language, a field of study, a cultural gesture of wide and generous breath. Yet, when one comes to know him more closely, another light appears: that of a soul seeking the fertile margin, the artistic borderland, the less-travelled threshold, the quiet independence of one who chooses listening as a form of inner fidelity. For this reason I immersed myself in the research of his path, a demanding journey through the density of an artistic vegetation that required slowness, so firmly were its plants intertwined with one another; and the further I advanced, the more that forest took on the form of a secret garden, a place where every sound preserved a memory and every memory seemed to wait, with an almost passionate urgency, for someone willing to listen.
