Fabula is a permanent sound and sculptural installation created for a wooded area of the Serpone Foundation in Torrita Tiberina (Rome). The artist gives voice to centuries-old cypresses and lime trees through a multi-channel sound device. Visitors become protagonists of the work by walking through it and thus immersing themselves in a forest transformed into an initiatory path where the plant world relates to the human, animal and mineral worlds. Going beyond the very idea of species towards an interspecific sociality. In plant intelligence the root corresponds to what the brain is in animals and the soil, the underground reality, is a space of spiritual communication. Thanks to the roots, plants simultaneously inhabit two environments that are completely different in consistency and structure, organization and nature of the life that lives there: the earth and the sky.
