Roberto Paci Dalò and Nathalie Singer will share exclusive insights into their latest projects and research developed at Usmaradio – Centre for Radiophonic Studies at the University of the Republic of San Marino and Experimental Radio at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, deeply rooted in the history of experimental broadcasting. La doina, un fil sonore pour “vivre avec le trouble”
Anthropologist and sound artist from Moldova, Madalina Ciocanu, alias BORS, is interested in animism in Moldovan and Romanian folklore. She approaches the doina (a ‘traditional’ song/structure/reflection) as a sound thread that helps us ‘stay with trouble’ in our strange world (Donna J. Haraway in Staying with the Trouble, 2016). In Moldova, folklore is now mythologised as something ‘authentic’ to be preserved and encapsulated in its purity. Under the Soviet regime, it was politicised and choreographed to become a propaganda tool, thus cutting it off from its relational and animistic roots. In collaboration with the CNCPPCI (National Centre for the Conservation and Promotion of Intangible Cultural Heritage), Madalina Ciocanu engages with the archives of the doina to establish, through sound art, collages and experimental composition, a poetry conceived as a ‘means of seeking decolonial healing’.

This Sunday, join us as artist Roberto Paci Dalò presents his new book, “eBAU. Art Dreams for the New European Bauhaus”. The event will center on a public conversation about the intersection of art, music, performing arts, cinema, visual arts, and science. The discussion will navigate critical themes of heritage, digital culture, and ecology in contemporary language.

We are truly happy to welcome Italian multidisciplinary artist Roberto Paci Dalò for his first-ever visit to Armenia! This is a unique occasion to experience his work live — a concert and film screening featuring unpublished images shot in Bourj Hammoud (Beirut). Addressing the tragedy of the Armenian Genocide, the artist creates a composition where texts by Daniel Varoujan (Հացին Երգը / The Song of the Bread) intertwine with a soundscape of electronic textures, acoustic instruments, and voices.
This performance marks a significant milestone: despite his long-standing artistic research into Armenian culture, this is the artist’s first time presenting his work here.

Հայոց ցեղասպանության ողբերգությանը անդրադառնալով՝ արվեստագետը ստեղծում է մի կոմպոզիցիա, որտեղ Դանիել Վարուժանի (Հացին Երգը) տեքստերը միահյուսվում են էլեկտրոնային հյուսվածքների, ակուստիկ գործիքների և ձայների ձայնային լանդշաֆտի հետ։

Un ambiente acustico, una soglia oltre la quale siamo nella testa di Osip Mandel’štam, immergendosi nelle sue straordinarie parole sulla Divina Commedia. Una installazione sonora site-specific dedicata al poeta ebreo-russo Osip Mandel’štam (1891-1938). L’opera rappresenta uno dei frutti della residenza artistica che il compositore, regista e artista visivo ha condotto nell’estate 2025 nel territorio di Crespina-Lorenzana.

Propone un approccio all’insegnamento orientato a formare architetti e urbanisti dotati di una visione critica e di un forte senso di responsabilità. Roberto Paci Dalò utilizza clarinetti e live electronics unendo analogico e digitale per creare spazi acustici immersivi debitori della sua ricerca tra musiche d’oggi e tradizionali (Armenia, Grecia, Albania e con una lunga ricerca sulla tradizione ebraica). Parallelamente al suo lavoro come compositore e musicista, Roberto è regista e artista visivo. Presenta il suo lavoro in giro per il mondo in festival, teatri, biennali, musei. Il suo lavoro è stato apprezzato e sostenuto, tra gli altri, da John Cage e Giya Kancheli.

Atmospherica, nasce da un’idea di Giacomo Vanelli e Francesca Pavesi / Idra. La loro attenzione alla dimensione spaziale e atmosferica del suono permette la realizzazione di particolari paesaggi sonori per chi ha voglia di sentire la musica e non solo ascoltarla. Attraverso l’uso di sistemi modulari, la musica diventa un luogo –delicato e arioso – in cui rifugiarsi. L’intento è di portare l’ascoltatore verso un dialogo ravvicinato con il proprio io , in quella connessione innata e profonda tra gli esseri umani e il mondo naturale.

Lorenzo Travaglini è un compositore, musicista e sound designer italiano. La sua ricerca unisce elettronica, musica classica contemporanea e sound design, creando spazi sonori intimi e immersivi. Dopo anni di lavoro su colonne sonore e installazioni, nel 2024 fonda Bosco Studio e pubblica PATTERNS, il suo secondo album.

LAB10 studio è uno studio di registrazione e sound design a Torino, apre al pubblico in maniera eccezionale per ospitare tre appuntamenti live di questa rassegna primaverile.

La Piccola Rassegna di Musica Elettronica nasce da un’idea di Diego Suzzi liutaio. Con la collaborazione di Andrea De Carlo.

7LEMI (My dreams) is a performance-flow in which vocal, instrumental and electronic materials draw a dream time. The creation of an acoustic and dreamlike environment within which the voices move, guided by chironomy, between text intelligibility and glossolalia, aphasia and pre-verbal language. You abandon the sheet of paper to enter the forest of memory and orality where “the language of your dreams is the language of your flesh”. An extra-ordinary space in which the time of reference is the tactus of ancient memory, the bpm of the heartbeat.

Connections nourish poetry, mathematics, medicine, art, physics, religion and everything that human beings together with other human beings, in the natural environment, build with their hands and intellect . The very existence of human beings depends on their ability to connect.

TEDX MACERATA 2023 explores the deepest aspects of the bonds that unite people, things, systems and the natural environment.

Day One  3:40 PM – 4 PM Giorgiomaria Cornelio and Roberto Paci Dalò will talk about I Fumi della Fornace project, an artistic event that animates the small community of Valle Cascia (IT) with its abandoned furnace since 2012.

‘Timisoara’ is a Leporello. I wanted to document my first trip to Romania, discovering a place that is both distant and familiar at the same time, thanks to my study of the musical tradition of this place. During those days, I watched people engage in their work in public places, in the streets, bars, and parks. After all, I redesigned signs and inscriptions that reminded me of a not-so-distant past. This notebook is part of the special exhibition “Can Creativity Change the World?”.
